On 28 May 2026, in Paris, ElanCity received the Grand Prix Europe at the Trophées Capital Export, organised by Challenges and Capital Export. The award recognises twenty years of industrial success and international growth, placing our SME from the Pays de la Loire region among France’s export champions.
An Award Celebrating French Excellence on the International Stage
For their very first edition, the Grands Prix de l’International — jointly presented by Challenges magazine and Capital Export — honoured eight French SMEs and mid-sized companies (ETIs) from among more than 200 entrants. Selected by an independent jury of leading executives and international trade experts, the winners were announced at a ceremony held in Paris.
The Grand Prix Europe, awarded to ElanCity, recognises a standout success in European markets and celebrates French industrial excellence abroad.
“Export growth is the only speed that has no limit!” — says Jean-Mathieu Sahy, President of Capital Export.

Twenty Years of Industrial Growth
Designed and manufactured near Nantes, ElanCity’s speed-awareness radars and reward signs now equip local authorities around the world. Over twenty years, the company has built a strong international presence, structured around five subsidiaries — in the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United States — and a distribution network spanning around forty countries.
This strategy is paying off: exports now account for more than 50% of revenue, driven by average annual growth of around 20%.

Recognition — and Undiminished Ambition
“This Grand Prix Europe is a great source of pride for ElanCity. It rewards twenty years of industrial commitment, innovation and international growth. Seeing our solutions, designed in Nantes, succeed in demanding markets and help make roads safer in many countries is proof that a French industrial SME can make its mark well beyond its borders, with products that are useful, reliable and durable.” — says Eric Cesbron, Chairman of ElanCity.
For ElanCity, this Grand Prix Europe is not a finish line but a milestone. Building on this recognition, ElanCity intends to continue its international expansion, strengthening its position in major European and North American markets while accelerating its growth into new territories.
